The Power of Perseverance

Thanks, Carolyn, for all of your wonderful advice. The Proverbs 31 woman has always intrigued me since I began my Christian walk 30+ years ago. I am 53-years-old and have been divorced 5 years now and have had to remake myself after a 27-year marriage and ministry.....we just never know what life will throw at us. But in the last 5 years, I took a job as a teller in a bank for $9.00/hour and have taken classes in real estate and appraisal.

I worked my way up to Assistant Branch Manager, left there, and went to work in property management and have now obtained my licenses in health, life/annuities, property/casualty and am studying to take the securities license tests - Series 6 and 63. I will have my 4th interview to discuss my new position with a financial group to begin a program to become a financial planner. I am so excited!

I believe God has so ordered my steps through prayer to find myself now in a position to really continue to help people, especially women such as myself, and to make a very decent income. Please keep me in your prayers; you have been an inspiration to me. I think I may have emailed you several years ago after the divorce when I found your website and signed up to receive your newsletter. I plan to read all your books this year!

Thanks again, Donna Jackson
